Borden Waste-Away Service, Inc. announces their residential trash and recycling schedule for the week of January 6th.
All trash and recycling routes suspended for Monday, January 6th and Tuesday, January 7th.
Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, trash and recycling services for Monday, January 6th and Tuesday, January 7th have been suspended. This includes all subscription customers, Elkhart city residents, and all other municipal customers. Borden will be back on your next regularly scheduled service day and will take extra bags of trash and/or recycling free of charge.
Elkhart city residents who would have been serviced on either Monday, January 6th or Tuesday, January 7th will have extra trash bags taken on Monday, January 13th and Tuesday, January 14th.
St. Joe county residents who were not serviced on Monday, January 6th and Tuesday, January 7th will have extra recycling taken on their next regularly scheduled recycling day. Borden asks that you clearly mark the bags as being excess recycling so they are not confused with bags of trash.
All Himco Front Load services will be completed this week between Wednesday, January 8th and Saturday, January 11th. Himco Roll-Off service will resume Wednesday, January 8th.
